About Enriched Food AS

Enriched Food AS is a small family business located in Ålesund in the middle of magnificent fjords and mountains.

With the sea as a close neighbor, the Gjendemsjø family has worked in the fishing and omega-3 industry for generations. The legacy has been respect for nature and a focus on utilizing the resources nature gives us in a sustainable way.

With this focus, they have now created a product that makes it easy for the whole family to get omega-3 in a healthy, tasty and sustainable way.

By using residual raw material from food production from local shipping companies, and mixing it with organic cold-pressed olive oil from Crete, they have come up with a new way of absorbing the essential omega-3 fatty acids.

Focus on a healthier life is here to stay, requirements for documentation on food are becoming ever higher, sustainability is on the agenda in all industries, and traceability will in a few years be necessary and desirable for everyone. We are therefore proud that we are among the first in our industry to offer just this.
