There are several good reasons why daily supplementation of sufficient amount of omega-3 is beneficial for the body.

The positive effects on the heart and circulation are probably the most well-known health benefits of omega-3. According to LHL (National Association for Heart and Lung Disease), omega-3 (EPA and DHA) can reduce heart rate and lower the risk of cardiac arrhythmias and blood clots.

More than 4,000 studies have been performed on humans where it has been shown, among other things, that omega-3 also helps maintain a healthy blood pressure and a healthy triglyceride level.

* EPA and DHA contribute to the normal functioning of the heart. Beneficial effect is obtained by a daily intake of 250 mg of EPA and DHA.
DHA and EPA help maintain normal blood triglyceride levels. Beneficial effect is obtained by a daily intake of 2 g of EPA and DHA. Daily intake of 5 g EPA and DHA combined must not be exceeded.
DHA and EPA help maintain normal blood pressure. Beneficial effect is obtained by a daily intake of 3 g of EPA and DHA. Daily intake of 5 g EPA and DHA combined must not be exceeded.
